Today was not a good day. My main goal was to wash my hair, which was a struggle. I ended up not leaving my room all day and resting. The afternoon provider decided I should switch to vegetable broth four times daily, which is often hydrating and might perk me up. The other positive is that it was easier to drink than just plain water, which will help me get in my five glasses daily minimum. I am hopeful that this new plan will get me to my goal. The broth here is homemade and will replenish some electrolytes but not break my fast.
I am so close to my goal – day 16 out of 21. I will make it.
