Day 6 of Water Only Fasting

I woke up today feeling more energetic, although not my usual self. I aimed to spend more time out of my room and be around people. I slept until 7 AM because I was up late trying to drink enough water. I followed my morning routine, waited for the provider to do their rounds, and decided to shower before the 10 AM class. However, I discovered that the provider had already done their rounds while I was in the shower. I was later told that they advise against showering to avoid dizziness.

The 10 AM class was a cooking demo, and, thankfully, the smell of food didn’t bother me as much as before, so I see that as progress. After the class, I sat outside and read until the 2 PM pilates stretching class. Following the class, I conversed with people to understand what fasting might be like over time. I then spent some time in the sun but soon felt drained. I later learned they don’t recommend spending too much time in the sun, which I understand now.

My pulse was higher than usual throughout the day. Walking across the room pushed it to 120, and my resting heart rate was in the 80s. The provider mentioned that energy levels fluctuate in waves, so I can expect good and not-so-good days. I’ll have to see what tomorrow brings.
