Good news. By the time this posts, I will be one-third of the way on this journey. This makes me happy. I know my why and have stuck to it. I intend to finish if medically possible and have seldom wavered from this goal. It has not been easy.
This morning, I woke up to the sound of the garbage truck. This was a good thing as I had a blood draw scheduled at 8:15. One thing I need to work on is remembering that everything I do takes extra time so that I can factor that into my morning plan. I woke up feeling great. I drank almost two glasses of water before the blood draw. They asked us to hydrate, to make things easier. Drinking enough water has been a real challenge. At some point, I felt exhausted, settled into the recliner, and took a 90-minute nap. I am not normally a napper.
Dr. Alan Goldhamer, the founder of True North gave the afternoon talk. I have heard him speak many times, but he had some new information and is a dynamic speaker. Before speaking, he had us go around the room to introduce ourselves and discuss how we learned about True North. I enjoyed that, as people are always coming and going here. Finding where people are from and hearing their stories is good.
Dr. Goldhamar reviewed many of the published studies and case reports of miraculous healings caused by fasting. This was very inspirational. He talked for two hours, putting me behind on my daily water intake.
Tomorrow is a new day and a new opportunity.
